The Kazakhstan National Association of Professional Engineers and Consultants, represented by financial specialist Aigerim Zhumagulova, participated in
the 3rd Caucasus and Central Asia Construction Forum in Yerevan, Armenia, on April 28–29, 2026, organized by Innovative Engineering in collaboration with ACEG, Hogan Lovells, and Intelligent Solutions.
The forum was very open and substantive. There were many lively and honest discussions about how FIDIC contracts work in practice—without unnecessary theory, using real-world case studies and conclusions.
Special emphasis was placed on the role of FIDIC in contracts—as a tool that helps establish clear rules and, importantly, prevent disputes from escalating to arbitration courts and protracted litigation. The practice of early dispute resolution and conflict prevention was discussed.
There was much discussion about the key objective: not to “resolve disputes,” but to prevent them from arising in the first place, by structuring work within the contract based on transparency, mutual respect, and trust between the parties.
However, the main value of the Forum was the participants themselves. Highly skilled experts, open dialogue, new connections, and the sense that the industry is moving forward. A very warm yet professional atmosphere.
We would also like to highlight the preparation and organization of the forum. Everything was of the highest standard; We would like to once again express my special gratitude and support to our Armenian colleagues.
