Arystan Massanov and Zhandos Amanbayev, leaders of the Kazakhstan National Association of Professional Engineers and Consultants, are participating in the 92nd session of the Global Forum on Road Safety (WP.1) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, taking place in Geneva from March 23 to 27 of this year.
The forum addresses key issues of international policy in the field of road safety: the Convention on Road Traffic (1968), the Convention on Road Signs and Signals (1968), the safe use of automated vehicles, the improvement of the regulatory framework, the development of the Safe System approach, and other key issues.
The participation of representatives from Kazakhstan in the Forum is of strategic importance for the further development of the national road safety system and the integration of advanced international experience, taking into account national characteristics.
